Critical infrastructure like this, how do you strengthen or make it more resilient?
That will be the topic of tonight’s lecture and discussion at the Marriot Marquis. And remember, a disruption of essential services due to failure of critical infrastructure has a ‘soft’ side (societal) and a ‘hard’ side (engineering). And thus is it necessary to bring engineers, emergency managers and local community/city leadership together…
